Positive: Views Negative: The driveway

Great base for a weekend away! Positive: Great place for a group of friends to enjoy a weekend in Dunedin! The kitchen and dining area was spacious and well stocked. The living area was cosy and the mix of bedrooms upstairs and downstairs was ideal for our larger group. Negative: The driveway was very steep, but we received clear instructions advising us of the fact, before checking in. If arriving in the evening, the parking spot is unlit, but close to the house.

Positive: The views are as good as the photos suggest especially the upstairs bedrooms. The house is very well equipped with all the kitchen stuff you need. Heating in the living space was very good. Great place for a family - especially in the warmer months. Negative: We came during a cold period and it was hard to keep the bedrooms warm - there are heaters but the house is old and a lot of heat is lost throught the large windows. The parking is funky but adequate - read the parking desciptions/instructions carefully.

Would stay there again. Positive: Views were amazing. Very comfortable and inviting. Well equipped kitchen. Could easily walk to the beach cafe's, although be prepared for a big steep walk back!! Loved it. Negative: A bit of an old musty smell, but tbf its an old place. Would have been nice to use the fireplace.

Positive: Nice to relax and enjoy the great view. A friend dropped in and said where did you find this gem.
